Nearly 25,000 households in south-east Queensland found themselves without power on Monday's dawn after powerful weather events swept through the area, producing powerful gusts hitting 109km/h.
Substantial Ice Stones and Widespread Damage
Locals observed giant hailstones as large as 7 centimeters in some areas. The Bureau of Meteorology announced that multiple regions across Queensland had been hit with significant hail.

Moist weather were predicted to continue along much of Queensland's east this coming days as a atmospheric system continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.
The following day was expected to become the wettest day, with continued storm activity predicted across multiple regions of both regions.

Health officials alerted that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the countryside regions, especially given the current weather patterns.
